INTRODUCTION English is a one of the difficult subjects for students. Most of them are not really interested in this subject because they have less communicative environment, words and poor knowledge background. The skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking are still weak. One of four skills that English learners have problem is that listening skills. Meanwhile, they are passive in getting knowlege. Many still depend on the availableresponds. The ideas are not paying attention to the content of the unit. From the fact that I will do anything to stimulate and create excitement for the children to develop skills, especially listening skills. I have researched and applied the theme “Some activities in post listening - grade 11” with the purpose of attracting the student 's fun in class .The main reason is that I can choose this theme. II. CONTENTS 1. Theotical bases Through the lessons, I find that the purpose of listening is to develop students' listening skills such as intensive listening ,extensive listening, listening for specific information, listening for gist...... That is why I think we need to redesign some activities in "Post Listening" in the lessons. After each session, there must be a change in form and other activities to promote the comprehension skills of students after listening such as: Reorder the pictures, ask & answer (Question & Answer), use the words to make a meaningful sentence, fill in the gap (Gap-Fill), play the role (Roleplay), discussion ), Games (games) ...... Listening activities in the "Post-Listening" do not exceed 10 minutes in each listening lesson. These activities must be linked to the content of each lesson and should be appropriate for the student's ability; they shouldn’t be too difficult but not too easy to cause boredom for students. Besides, Listening activities should make a real excitement for students, make them active when they hear, avoid boredom during class hours. Because after listening, they can talk about some of the new content they have heard in other forms. 2. Practical bases Through listening lessons, I find that most of the students are passive, not really interested in learning. This is because most of the children already have answered in the booklet. When the teacher asked to listen to the answer, they did not really focus on the content of the lesson, just ask the teacher about the exercises in the book, they give the answer completely correct. ; But there are still some who have not heard yet. Moreover, previous years in the team also agreed to do a listening test (15 minutes), but the quality of their listening is not high. From this point of view, I think I need to redesign the listening exercises in "Post-Listening" with various activities to promote students' listening and comprehension skills; These activities are moderate, not too difficult nor too easy. However, through activities in the "Post-Listening" we can also promote the organization of activities for students to work in groups, pairs, or individuals ..... This encourages the children to be more and more confident and active while learning. 3.Solution * Preparation: a. For students: Students are expected to prepare vocabulary at home before going to class. The teacher can give the words that need to be taught in the listening section so that students can pre-compose the meaning of the words. (Absolutely no students preview the tapescripts of each post). If the teacher discovers that the student will be deducted. b. For teacher: + Teachers should redesign their activities in the "Post-Listening" section so that they are not distracting to the students who already have their answers in the booklet. Depending on the teacher, you can use Pictures, Posters, Handouts, ... to save time for students. Classroom teachers work in pairs, groups, teams to suit each activity. - Use Pictures, Posters, Handouts, charts ... for activities and instruct students how to perform each activity appropriately. - Bonus points if individuals, pairs or groups do well to encourage them, create excitement while learning. * Procedures: - Some activities in post listening – grade 11. They are really interested in learning the lessons. These are the small experiences that I have picked up in the classroom teaching English 11 in my school, of course I can not avoid certain shortcomings. I hope I can build up ideas and learn more experiences of colleagues to complete my theme. I would like to thank.
