Some experiences to organize group activities in warming - Up for the grade 10 students

 The teaching of foreign languages in general and English in high school is being taught by teachers and lecturers of foreign languages and teaching methods suitable to help teachers can compare. Compare, contrast and adapt teaching techniques to gain experience so that you can make informed decisions in choosing the right techniques for your needs and goals.

 As we all know, the former teacher-centered approach is teacher-centered as the communicator of knowledge, and the passive learner is the learner. This method is less effective education, it is no longer suitable for the current development of our country. Now the requirement of innovation teaching method is to promote the positive of students, students must know self-initiative and creative, occupy the master of knowledge. To fulfill this requirement, the teacher must be the person who has the role of guiding, directing and organizing the activity of the student. Therefore, the exploration and use of new methods always requires each teacher to have.

 Group work is the main activities in teaching English at school.Group work, a new teaching method, has been adopted by many teachers in student practice that helps students move toward active learning, against passive behavior. In the present way, English requires students to practice communicative skills or to speak strictly speaking. Through the years of teaching in the new method, I have learned from myself: teamwork contributes to increased communication and cooperation among students. Organizing group activities in the beginning of a new lesson is one of the most important steps in a focused session. This will help them to be active and active, attract all participants, save time for new entries and also facilitate teachers to work as private instructors. Moreover, from the very beginning they understand a lot about the new lesson they are about to learn. Starting from the theoretical and practical premise, I decided to choose the topic: "Some experiences to organize group activities in warming-up for the 10 grade students "

 I. INTRODUCTION

 II. CONTENTS
1. Organization of group activities. 
 Group learning is a form of instruction which places students in an active learning environment in which students are grouped actively. Group collaboration helps them develop and develop their work skills - Communication skills. Group activities enable students to learn from each other, to promote their role of responsibility and social wellbeing on the basis of collaborative work. Through group activities they can work together. For students to practice the skills of teamwork is very necessary.It enables students to have the opportunity to exchange, learn from each other, help each other , helps children to have the opportunity to develop fully.
    * Implementation steps, control a group operation:
  - The 1st step: T introduces the requirements what students have to do.
  - The 2nd step: divide class into groups.
  - The 3rd step: give instructions - check Ss' understanding
  - The 4th step: Ss work in groups. T goes round to check and take notes.
  - The 5th step: When most groups finished, stop the activities. Each group report their answers
   - The 6th step: T feedback
 2.Organizing group work in warm-up 
 As for the lead in the new lesson, in addition to the teacher's proliferation of methods, such as asking students to look at the pictures (asking, answering, etc.) In a direct form, the group approach in the lead-in to the new lesson creates a lively atmosphere and mobilizes all students to work together. They will be more interested in themselves when they exploit the content that they will learn about. Teachers are also very gentle when introducing new lessons and certainly more or less effective lessons. The warm-up design part is based on the following tips
+ Game: Games help children create psychological comfort, gentle when entering the game.
The game design must not exceed the allowed time (4-5 minutes) should request fast, neat, unexpecte
+ Brainstorming: Give students a keyword, asking students to work out as many relevant words as possible within a certain time limit. The group with the right words wins the prize. This activity helps them to consolidate their vocabulary.
+ Discussion: Teachers give discussion, students think in group and then choose individual to present oral presentation to the whole class. From there, the teacher takes an introduction to the content of the new lesson.
+ Ask and answer: Ask some questions about a particular subject through specific pictures or objects, asking the students to give their personal opinion. The questions are simple, easy to understand to avoid the psychology "see fear of false". Encourage students to raise questions regarding the topic raise
a.Preparation:
 Good preparation is good for practice. To carry out group activities in leading the new lesson, ask the teacher to prepare:
+ Pictures: photocopy pictures in textbooks, draw new paintings in the spirit of lessons, find more paintings on the Internet, newspapers ...

+ Study tickets: Listening test, vocabulary test.

* Example 1: Unit 1: A day in the life of ...A : Reading (Page 12,13 English 10)
"Group activity in the form:GUESS THE ACTION
 Time: 8 - 10 minutes
+ Teacher divides the class into 4 teams
+ Teacher prepares the pieces of paper on which the names of the items are available
activity. In turn the students on the board describe each action without the use of words, the other students will guess what the name of the action is.
+ The team that correctly predicts many actions will win
Activities:

 III.CONCLUSION
 Through the process of applying the above method I realize that students are more eager, more flexible in practice, mastered the way of studying and doing effectively; Students are more excited with school hours, more active hours, and the quality of their classes has increased.
 When organizing group activities, teachers work as facilitators and consultants so all activities take place in a gentle way, saving time. On the student side, the teacher must choose each group to focus on all the students so that they have the opportunity to help each other in their activities and to promote the team spirit of the students. 
Group activities often make the classroom so vibrant that it is inevitable that noise may easily affect adjacent classrooms, but the results of student comprehension are high.
